Ugh, just chapped all over! It got very cold very quickly…
Good Morning everyone…. The weather dropped over 20 degrees leaving us for a high of 56 today. Brrrrrrrrrr, I was truly enjoying this mid 70’s thing we had going on here for a while. But I guess it had to end at some point. *sigh* Sorry to be so slack with my entries lately but I have had a lot going on…. Holidays are just around the corner and I’ve been trying to plan for Thanksgiving… We are spending it here in Richmond and I’m cooking for some family and friends. I’m all about getting or creating a TURDUCKIN! I’m sure that most of you have just said, “WHAT THE FUCK?” OK I was turned onto this by a friend from Wilmington. He has purchased a few of them for parties and they seem to go over very well! Turducken is a small chicken shoved into a duck which is shoved into a turkey. So you end up with 3 layers of deboned poultry. Chef Paul Purdhomme is the originator of the Turducken! His spices are fabulous! Friday November 4th took the cake on “day of bad karma”.
It started off at 5am Friday morning when I got up to make Brett his lunch for work and skied down the staircase. I overshot the step by a half inch and found myself sliding down the stairs at an accelerated pace. Usually gripping the hand rails stop you at about the 4th or 5th step. Nope, not this time. That just didn’t cut it.. All the way down my ass bounced, I’m crashing into every step with my heels digging into the outer edge of each stair all the way down…. It was like someone was behind me pushing... I’M AWAKE!!! Holy shit I just fell down the stairs. Ughhhh, What a way to start the day… The rest of the day toys with me and plays little jokes on me as I try to function… Walking into door jams, stubbing my toe, dropping numerous items as if I had all thumbs… But the kicker is when Brett was on his way home and I thought that I would meet him at the front door the right way. "You know, the worlds greatest Peter Primer." On my knees, tits exposed, mouth open and his favorite mixed drink in hand. When all of the sudden my friend Chris walked in… The look on his face was priceless..... OH the embarrassment! Yeah, so that was my Friday……..

Well Brett and I had a terrific Halloween weekend! Brett took last Friday off so our weekend started Thursday night. We celebrated our anniversary over and over again. I am walking a little funny but it was worth it!
I was hung over beyond any normal stretch of the imagination but this is because we went to the bar that Sunday night to watch the game and I had my first Long Island Ice Tea. We also had jell-o shooters and other various drinks… Oh my…. We got to catch a little over 2 minutes of the game due to Brett’s foul up on the schedule. He thought it started at 4. Either way Dallas won and we had a great time. After the bar we went to a haunted house where a puff of air from a skeleton hit me in the leg and sent me screaming like a little bitch. I couldn’t believe it…. I blame it on the alcohol. Yeah so everyone standing there had a good chuckle at my expense.
